Supplier Code of Conduct

Introduction:

J.S. McCarthy Packaging + Print (JSM) takes pride in conducting our business in anethical, lawful and socially responsible way. We also emphasize the importance of partnering with suppliers who share these values. JSM has developed this Supplier Code of Conduct to clarify our guiding principles regarding ethical behavior, and our expectation that our suppliers agree to follow the same. We believe that, by mutually committing to upholding these ethical standards, we can strengthen our relationship and further promote such standards within our industries.

Scope:

This Code of Conduct applies to all suppliers of JSM, including any of their affiliates, subcontractors or related parties. We ask that you, as a supplier partner, read and understand it, and agree to abide by it.

Policy:

JSM expects the following from its supplier partners.

1. Follow the Law:
   • Follow all applicable laws, regulations, ordinances and rules.
   • Treat these legally imposed standards as the minimum required standard in conducting its business.
2. Business Conduct:
   • Act fairly and ethically in conducting its business and not engage in fraud, deceptive practices or unethical practices.
   • Avoid, and report to JSM, any actual or potential conflicts of interest with respect to its relationship with JSM.
   • Not engage in any form of corruption, bribery, extortion, or accepting or offering kickbacks or inappropriate gifts.
   • Protect JSM’s confidential information and respect its intellectual property rights.
   • Collect, use, store and transfer personal data in compliance with all applicable data privacy and data protection laws.
3. Labor Practices:
   • Ensure equal employment opportunity and prohibit discrimination based on any protected characteristics.
   • Treat all employees with respect and dignity and not engage in harassment, abuse or any form of coercion.
   • Provide employees with fair wages, benefits and working conditions that meet or exceed legally imposed standards.
   • Comply with all applicable labor and employment laws and standards, including those governing working hours, rest periods and overtime.
   • Prohibit the use of child, forced, bonded, indentured or involuntary labor and human trafficking in any form.
   • Provide a healthy and safe work environment for your employees.
4. Recordkeeping:
   • Keep accurate and timely books and records that correctly reflect business transactions in accordance with industry standards.
5. Environmental Responsibility:
   • Operate in an environmentally responsible manner, including minimizing waste and emissions, conserving natural resources and promoting sustainable practices.

JSM reserves the right to monitor conformance to this Supplier Code of Conduct, including by annual self-certification, audit, or other reasonable methods.
