Creating PDF Files from Adobe Programs:
Adobe makes it very easy to create PDFs from the Creative Suite. With Creative Suite 2 and later the programs all share settings with Acrobat Distiller so you may directly export press-ready PDFs from any program in the Creative Suite. Follow the instructions below for the program and version you are using. If you have

Acrobat and the JSM Job Options
If your program is not listed below, print a postscript file and use these settings in Acrobat Distiller (versions 4-9) to produce a clean pdf. The JSM Acrobat Distiller Setup file has complete installation instructions.

JSM PDF Preflight Profiles
Acrobat Professional
includes built-in preflight features that can find common production problems
in your PDFs. Download and install these profiles to double check your
PDFs before sending them for output. Profiles are included for jobs that
use Spot colors only, CMYK only, or both Spot and CMYK colors.
