Transferring Files:

JS McCarthy accepts files in several different ways for your convenience. Whether you send your files on disk or through our high speed Internet connection, be sure to let us know which method you used.

Physical Transfer:
We accept a wide range of media from CDs, DVDs, Zip Disks or flash drives. Disks may be sent to your Customer Service Representative.

JSM RemoteProof Server:
JSM RemoteProof lets you use a standard web browser to trasfer and proof your files. When the upload is done your Customer Service Representative will receive immediate notification that your files have arrived.

These uploads go directly to our production server, and with a PDF workflow can be set to automatically process files and generate electronic proofs, giving you the ability to find and fix problems without incurring additional prepress charges. To use JSM RemoteProof you must have an account, contact your Customer Service Representative to have one set up.

JSM AutoFTP:
JSM AutoFTP is a small program customers can use to upload thier files. It is a standard FTP client, except it's hard-wired to our server, and it works via drag and drop. So you don't have to worry about login, password, or directory information when uploading. To use it, just drag the files onto the AutoFTP icon. It will automatically compresses files to protect them, and will notify us when the upload is complete.

Standard FTP Server:
Our FTP server can also be accessed with any standard FTP program, or through many web browsers. Files sent this way MUST be protected during transit, so compress your files in the Stuffit or ZIP format before sending. Please contact us when your upload is done with the EXACT filename(s) you sent. Our FTP server does not allow guest access, so contact your Customer Service Representative to receive connection information.
